I am now our company's Last Employee. I use the term 'employee' liberally as I don't get paid by my own company any more, I get paid by the client directly. But I am certainly the only person coming here to work now. Rob left on Friday - mercifully taking his Queens of the Stone Age and Marilyn Manson MP3s with him - which means I have to somehow make sense of his work if it's gonna get finished. I seriously doubt I will be able to do this effectively in the 2 weeks available to me, so this project is gonna collapse! Yay.
It kind of irritates me when people I don't like are posting lyrics. Especially when it's one of my favourite bands. Especially when I know that they only like that band because they were introduced to them by a mutual friend. And especially when it was me who introduced the band to that friend in the first place. One of you should know who I'm talking about. ;) To be honest, I never really saw the point of posting lyrics, but I guess that's just because I hate poetry. Oh well. Don't worry... if you post lyrics, I don't think any less of you, I just scroll past it :)
On the home recording front, I'm gonna give up on doing vocals I think... I sound ok when singing normally, but recorded it sounds dire. Which is really offputting. So... any singers in the Nottingham, UK area?
