hack and slash

I am rather intrigued as to why several writers and fans of slash fiction have been reading this journal. I've had about 4 or 5 of them visit in the last month, comprising about 90% of the drive-by hits. Feel free to post your amusing and mildly insulting hypotheses below. Feel even freer to post if you are one of these people, or you know why this is occurring...

My guess is the long hair. Not to say that it's very slashy to have long hair, but long hair can cause almost anything. I just hope you won't wind up as a victim of real person slash. That is something I find to be in rather poor taste.

Maybe they like guys with long hair and want to slash you?

They're all from Mansfield.

That explains everything.

The mystical power of the god of long hair reached through the ether, touched them and drew them here.

Thank you!

So, if you see a story of that ilk floating around the web, you can blame me for having given someone the idea. But they of course must be even more twisted than I to actually pen it.
