Mmm, National Health Service

Lots of people complain that the National Health Service (here in the UK) is not too good... long waiting lists, poor emergency service, etc etc. But twice now I've gone for some minor treatment and twice I've been totally cured, within 2 hours, totally for free. Vive le socialism, or whatever. On that note, it's nice to be able to hear out of both ears again. It makes crossing the road much safer and listening to my friends talk much more useful. Oh, and to be able to listen to music in stereo again is woooooonderful.

White hair oddness

Seems like I've got a load of white hairs at the front of my head. But the strange thing is that they're all really long... so they've been there at least a year or so. How come I didn't notice them before? Or did they just suddenly go white for some reason?
