(no subject)

I prefer the days before broadband, when having 10 people on my ICQ or other messenger list meant that there were 10 people there to talk to. Now it just means that there are 10 people who don't switch off their computers. At any given time, more than 2/3rds of the people on my list are marked as being away. Boring.
