Well, that was a fucking fright. I'm coming home from a night out, and as often happens in the city, you see 3 fire engines go past. Ok. Now imagine my fear when 5 minutes later, I round the last corner and see them, with a police car, outside my house.

Luckily it was next door... one of the little shits from round here put a firework through the letterbox, which set fire to some sort of curtain, etc. Seems like none of the people next door (or their dogs) were harmed, but it just shows the kind of shitty people that live around here. Even more encouraging is that neither of my housemates seem to have paid any interest to the fact that next door was on fire; what if it had been our place? Grr.... *tries to calm down*
