(no subject)

I just saw a news report showing how 2 villages near here were evacuated about 100 years ago so that a reservoir could be built on their site. With the recent lack of rain, the water level's dropped and you can see the old Parish Hall and other buildings. Anyway, I can't imagine such an enforced exodus happening now in this country. I think something similar's planned for Turkey but that's a bit different. Anyway, randomness over.

My lone bandmate is still surgically attached to his girlfriend and shows no signs of being free for a couple of hours of band work any time soon. Grr.

My internet access is sporadic because NTL keep disconnecting us, apparently. Very annoying just to have everything go dead at random intervals.

I'm starting to run out of money, with no immediate job prospects. I am owed over £300, but who knows when I'll get that.
