Apr. 2nd, 2004 03:33 amWent out to the local club, and enjoyed good music by the likes of In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Guns And Roses, Paradise Lost, Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson, Lacuna Coil, Dimmu Borgir, and Sonata Arctica. The place was mainly empty, as anticipated, but that's good as the DJ will play whatever you want. And they actually had cider available tonight, for a change.
My two housemates are very tense towards each other at the moment. It's a shame as they were previously quite close, more so than I was towards either of them. Now the stresses of living together, sharing responsibility for bills, troubles with money, different living standards, and so on, contribute to them not talking much any more. They also both seem to feel like the other doesn't like them any more, which is untrue. Most of the good things of their friendship are on hold and the bad things of living together are at the forefront. Hopefully it'll right itself in the future, but that may come at the cost of us having to find separate homes, which creates new problems. Nightmare. I just tell them both that even good friends are shit sometimes and that it won't be worthwhile to hold a grudge in the long term.
In other news, I contributed a small amendment to the RSS reader extension for the Thunderbird mail client. This makes me super l33t and worthy of much respect. Maybe.
