Life's been progressing as normal for the most part. I've been doing a lot of thinking and going through old notes and conversations recently, which is interesting yet mildly depressing. I don't think I'll ever quite understand how people change so much in short periods of time. I don't think I've changed much in 10 years, and my beliefs and feelings towards situations and people are fairly constant. Anyway... to balance that negative feeling out, I've been back working on computer programming stuff. This is always good, as success with that gives me a false sense of competence. ;)

Speaking of computer stuff, I'm off to this computer game development conference tomorrow, for 2 days. I will have to endure a 3.5hr train journey, rectify what looks like a wrongly-booked hotel room, share that room with 2 people I barely know, avoid the 'conference dinner' where they only serve food I can't or won't eat, collect notes or transcripts for all the interesting sessions I'll have missed by getting to the conference a day and a half late, and endure the 3.5hr train journey back. Ah, the joys of education.
