And this bit of news last month amused me: "Aide asked to 'dig dirt' on rival" - "A gay researcher for Cornwall MP Candy Atherton has claimed his former boss asked him to "dig the dirt" on a gay Conservative political opponent." The Conservative party is often categorised as the most homophobic of the 3 major political parties, so it's quite funny that when they select an openly gay candidate, the local Labour opposition goes digging for dirt. Aren't politicians lovely people? I won't be voting at the next election, I think.
Today I did very little, and stayed in for the first Saturday in weeks. Next week I will be back on the socialising warpath as I don't have any coursework deadlines for a whole 13 days! Let's hear it for post-graduate education! *insert sound of tumbleweed* If anyone wants to get together next week, let me know and make your booking now! Don't all shout at once.
I've spent a lot of time recently looking for some sort of computer software that I could use as a replacement for all my paper notes and computerised post-it notes (which were starting to get unwieldy). After rejecting various 'information management' and 'outlining' tools, I went through the process of installing a Wiki for my own personal use, before deciding that it was too much hassle and just started using a plain old word processor instead. Typical really.
