various shenanigans

I seem to have a recurring problem with my hair getting caught in girls' piercings. No, sadly it's not as interesting as it potentially sounds; usually it's an earring or something.

Last night I got invited to an anarchist party this Saturday which is so illegal and underground that the flyers for it don't even have the location on - apparently they tell everyone on the day where the venue will be, so the police don't have time to close it down. Ace! Sadly I will be away in Birmingham that night with the locals, on one of the traditional rock road trips.

This morning I have just had my last lecture of this course, and probably my last lecture ever. Shame really, as I much prefer listening to people teach me things than actually doing something useful.

My phone company is annoying me again. They keep barring my outgoing calls because I don't pay the bill on time. I wouldn't mind that so much except that (a) they never tell me that they're doing it, (b) they also block their operator (which is supposed to be a free call) so I can't phone to arrange to make a card payment, and (c) I paid them well over 2 weeks ago and (for the second time) they haven't automatically re-enabled my service. So I have to go and find a phone box so that I can call them to turn my phone on at home. Grr.

I thought I had something interesting to say this time but it appears I was mistaken. Oh well...
