Feb. 19th, 2006 08:22 pmFriday night: Went to Cabaret's rock night. Music was poor, attendance was an interesting mix of older types I'd not seen since that venue previously ceased such activities in March 2003 (or thereabouts) and first years from Nottingham Uni, wondering why all the old guard were so interested in what it would be like.
Saturday afternoon: got talked into going to the Peak District with various people,
_arnamentia_ being the only one I know that has an LJ since
kingamj wussed out was ill. (Since I posted this, I was reminded that
jellybearwhore was there and, of course, has an LJ too.) The point of this excursion was to wander around picturesque moors and woodland while striking ridiculous poses for the camera. And avoiding falling down various conveniently placed chasms.
Saturday night: got talked into going to see Hypocrisy. I always thought they sounded a little bland on record but I suppose I should give them another chance since they were good live. The sound was perfect from where I was in the front centre and it all sounded quite impressive, especially Peter TÃĪgtgren's vocals. Worth seeing again.
Today: nothing of importance, just computery stuff that seems to have wasted 6 hours of my life with little to show for it, except a couple of backup CDs, which I suppose is always handy.
Unsurprising results from the johari window so far:
bold (0%)
brave (0%)
cheerful (0%)
confident (0%)
loving (0%)
warm (0%)
;)
