Nice to see some potential terrorists getting jailed. Every so often people will complain about police detaining terrorist suspects in raids, and sometimes claim that not a single one has been charged and that it's just the police being racist or something. I think this sort of event shows that there are some pretty unsavoury characters out there, and that as much as we'd like none of the wrong people to get arrested by accident, it may be a small price to pay compared to having shopping centres or nightclubs blown up.

Although the nightclub they talked about blowing up was the Ministry of Sound, so perhaps these plots aren't all bad...!

On a less sober note, in a move which any (heterosexual) man in a relationship may consider groundbreaking, scientists are developing a pill which could boost women's libido and reduce their appetite. What more could you need?! Slip one of those into her coffee every morning and life is good!(PS. I do not necessarily endorse this potentially illegal and certainly immoral idea.)
