Grr. I couldn't leave negative feedback for Caiman__usa on Amazon Marketplace, because it has to be done within 90 days of the transaction. Note that they didn't bother sending me the fucking cd in question until 95 days after the transaction. So I've complained to Amazon instead. It just doesn't seem right, really.

HSBC sent me a large unsolicited letter full of promotional materials. One such item proclaimed that you can "save more than money" with them, as they replant forests or something with the cash you invest. How about not destroying so many trees to send out the advertising material in the first place, hmm?

I overheard a conversation outside my door at the weekend and guessed that Dio-Girl next door is moving out soon, since the landlord was showing a Polish girl around her flat. That would mean that of the 5 people on my floor, 3 of them are Polish. I think at least 1 of the people downstairs is too, as is one of those upstairs. Certainly a lot of immigration in these parts.

I might go out tomorrow; might not though. Is there any point? I've been mulling over cutting down on general social stuff for a while, on the grounds of it being largely pointless. I need to stick more to things I'm explicitly invited to, since there's less chance of me being bored and irritated while I'm there. It's something I've said before, and not really stuck to, but we'll see. I'm also attempting to spend less time arguing with people (not succeeding much there) and less time wasted on unproductive websites (succeeding a bit), so we'll see how all these goals turn out. Productivity is up slightly on the end of last year, anyway - I've been writing a little bit of music, and got some programming experiments done, so it's not all negative.

On Saturday, I'm going to investigate the option of buying some furniture. Probably not a bookshelf as it will be too heavy to carry, but some other sort of shelving unit. I've pretty much failed to buy everything else I've wanted recently (boots, guitar, guitar pedal, graphics tablet, previous candidate bookshelves) so I don't expect much from this attempt either, but we'll see.
