complaints
Mar. 17th, 2008 01:00 pmGrr, St Patrick's Day. An annoying time where people pretend to be Irish and parade around in tricolour flags to justify drinking too much Guinness at the end of the day. I like Ireland, its history and its culture, but why do people have to show disproportionate yet clearly superficial interest in it every year, while also being largely ignorant of their own?
What else? Oh, chav kids, still incredibly annoying. What possesses them to think that hitting people is an acceptable form of fun? Has it always been the case that children are so violent to strangers, or is this a new thing? At least one judge recently suggested that he keeps seeing younger and younger people on assault charges.
While I'm here, I would also like to complain about the lights in my flat (almost all non-functional), the weather (too cold), work (too tedious) and women (being female).
