(no subject)

Yay for walking back for a mile and a half in the rain while just wearing a t-shirt and carrying a guitar and amplifier. The BBC weather website is getting less and less accurate every day. I wouldn't mind so much if I'd managed to give a decent guitar lesson, but it turned out to be pretty pointless.

Police!

There was a big police escort going past as I was coming into work. Not just the usual one though, where there's one or two cars in front and one behind, travelling slowly. Here there were about 4 or 5 cars, sirens going and lights flashing, moving at high speed and protecting a blacked-out police van in the middle. The cop cars were blocking off every junction on this road so that other cars couldn't come near this van. I wonder who was in there? Some mass murderer? A terrorist? Some mob boss? More research needed...
