Who are your most trusted non-friends?


Hmm... not too many surprises there. Some are locals, some are random people who only appear cos of mock2's liking for having multiple journals, and notgothdammit is a bit of both. I check at least 2 or 3 of the above journals once a week or so anyway, and have probably browsed half of them on occasion when bored.

(no subject)

Managed to upgrade my system to Mandrake 9.2, after much gnashing and wailing. I have no idea how a 'normal' person would cope with all this. Anyway... this means I can use MSN from Linux again, which was the main thing keeping me off it for the last 6 months. Sad, I know. Now, to work out why it won't boot into XWindows properly when I log on normally, but will when I start it up via the 'failsafe' boot option. Hmm...

Got a phone call from my friend back home, Mya. Her band's moving slowly (heh, know that problem), her kid's started school (hope I never know that problem), etc etc. Good to hear from her though.

Chris was in the hospital today, due to more pain. But they sent him home as there's nothing much they can do for him until they get all the tests back or whatever. We were supposed to be writing more music this week and the next, but with him being ill all the time none of this has happened, understandably.

Hmm. Must configure sound on Linux. The silence is too much to bear...
