Isn't Google great?
Aug. 10th, 2004 11:32 pmI thought I would do another quick check to see where my name comes up at the moment, and discovered the following:
- Someone's quoted me in their program source code! Apparently I said something accurate and they liked it enough to put it in the file. Shame I have no idea who wrote the actual code.
- One of my Usenet threads got mentioned on "Dr. Dobb's Python-URL! - weekly Python news and links (Dec 3)"
- Some site written in Spanish or Portuguese is linking to my old article, and attempting to translate it using the Babelfish Spanish->English converter has amazingly changed my name to "Horseradish tree Sizer". How ace is that?
- One guy calling me 'positively clueless' :P
- I have a namesake playing for an under-8s football team in Northamptonshire... might be a relative that I don't know.
