Predictability
Apr. 7th, 2005 06:17 amSo, it's April again, and the April showers start. What's wrong with March or May, when it comes to rain? It's quite odd how the precipitation patterns seem to change so abruptly at this time of year. Any scientists have anything to share on the matter? Bring back the sun, I say.
General news update:
The government dropped/postponed their compulsory ID cards bill. I never did hear a good reason why they were to be introduced. Perhaps Bad Guys were to be compelled to put 'Terrorist' as their occupation on it or something.
And what's this all about? "Dead man not found for six years"!! "The inquest had heard that the council believed he was no longer one of its tenants." I get the feeling that if I didn't pay my rent, they'd kick the door in without waiting for 6 years.
Speaking of which, it's looking increasingly likely that I will be moving house in slightly less than 3 months. That will be my 10th house in 9 years. If nothing else, it's getting annoying having to dismantle and reassemble my computer desk once a year.
