(no subject)

I have a sudden craving to play Command And Conquer. Not any of the sequels, but the original in all its 320x200 glory. I have fond memories of my first year as a student, with the two household computers sitting on the living room table linked by null modem cable, and battle after battle being fought late into the night, and early into the morning. I don't suppose it's surprising that the little game I'm programming at the moment has very similar gameplay.

So, I have lots of coursework (and indeed revision) to do but I can't be bothered. Procrastination rules my life at the moment, especially when all these assignments are pointless. So instead I'm working on the aforementioned computer game, and playing a lot of guitar.

My good friend Charles-at-kde.org, who played a Dark Tranquillity track for me when DJing in the pub today, will be pleased to see that I am posting this entry using Konqueror, although I will continue to hold him responsible for my copy of Noatun crashing upon startup. In fact I may as well also blame him for KDevelop crashing about 10 times last night while I was programming, too. :) (And if you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry, I'm sure you're in the majority.)
