Apr. 21st, 2005 09:55 pmWhy am I spending so long on this assignment, which is only worth 3 credit points, when I have 2 exams, each worth 15 credit points, looming next week? I should really be making better use of my time, but it's hard to leave a job half-done, especially when it's something easy like this Java client/server program, and marginally interesting too (since I don't really know Java). I also have another assignment, worth 5 times as much as this Java one, which needs to be done within the next few days. Unfortunately it's hard to summon any enthusiasm for it (a software 3D renderer, largely identical to the one
njaard just finished, but with an added physics component).
ElectionWatch: BBC News online recently listed some of the 'celebrities' backing various parties this time around - the Conservatives have Sir Tim Rice, Eddie Jordan and Joan Collins, Labour have Delia Smith, Sir Alex Ferguson, and Eddie Izzard, and the Liberal Democrats have Brian Eno, Claire Rayner, and Germaine Greer. The election is still in the balance however, since David Beckham hasn't expressed an opinion yet.
