May. 7th, 2005 12:19 amWell, my election predictions were some way out, and even though I predicted the Conservatives would do better than the opinion polls had expected, they still did better than I thought. On the other hand the Ulster Unionists did a lot worse. So much for my career as a political correspondent.
Anyway, enough of that now. I started on the job search today and yet again I was reminded of how hopelessly unskilled I am. The lovely computery abbreviations C#, ASP.NET, and J2ME are all apparently big in this area at the moment, and I know nothing of any of those. This is probably because I like learning Interesting Things™ and the world only pays money for you to do Boring Things™.
Still waiting for the 2nd Daylight Dies album! I just found out that the EP I have of theirs is one of only 1000, and will probably be worth a lot when they're as big as Metallica. I knew I should have got it signed... ;)
