(no subject)

The five of you on my friends list who've visited my house (all females, naturally) will undoubtedly be thrilled to know that the builders are here right this moment, taking down the ever-present scaffolding. This scaffolding was erected ("huh huh Beavis, you said erected") in late July, for a job that took them 6 days to complete in early August, and was then abandoned for the next 8 weeks or so, until today. Yay. I might actually get some light through my window, now.

I had something else to say when I started typing this, but I've forgotten it now. It is hard to think clearly with builders stood right outside your 1st floor window.
