Apr. 15th, 2006 10:52 pmWell, I went out yesterday afternoon with the intention of having a quiet hour or two chatting with
jen_whitewave, but somehow ended up participating in an all-day drinking session, with the unusual company of Formerly-Of-Evil-Scarecrow Dylan,
analogueheart, and
gadgeeuropa. 2 drinks later we relocated to the other side of town and replaced Gadge with
ribble. I left the others and stumbled home at a decidedly lame 10pm, which was probably for the best since the hangover started as soon as I got out of the pub and lasted until 9am the morning after. Remember kids, drinking is bad.
Today, with the intention of restoring the balance, I've eaten and drunk healthily, and arranged some sedate entertainment in the form of Might and Magic 6, picking up where I left off in September '04. I guess I must have stopped playing it when I went back to university. Funnily enough though, I achieved a lot more on it today than I must have done in the last few weeks of playing it. I guess 2 years is plenty of time for one's patience to return! Shame new RPGs keep getting released more quickly than I can complete them though.
