Fun with computers (yeah, right)
Dec. 17th, 2006 03:24 pmThis picture here is a screenshot of 2 programs that should do the same thing, but instead having a fundamental disagreement as to whether my secondary disk drive actually has data partitions on it or not.

Madness. I had to install the top program to create a new partition on the first drive, because the second one simply wouldn't allow it. But the top program obviously isn't recognising my partitions on the second drive, meaning it's missing something. There's a good chance those partitions are actually damaged in some way, but I find it odd that a program can think they don't even exist.
Time I got hold of some disk diagnostics software.
I apologise to the majority of you, who will be finding these repeated techy rants rather dull.
