Yesterday was one of denatone's legendary barbecues. I came away well fed and only moderately smelling of charcoal - result.

Today, and each of the last 3 days, the police have had reason to attend some sort of incident just outside our house. Typically, it is because retarded drivers are unable to navigate the straight road without hitting each other. This time, it seems to be because someone's been hurt, not badly though, and this obviously requires three cars full of police to show up, just to wait for the ambulance. Great use of resources there.

The weather's nice. I'd like to be outside, but there's not much to do out there. Instead I will probably stay in and post on the Nvidia forums to try and find out why the hell their shitty hardware doesn't work for me.

Apparently Paradise Lost might be supporting Type O Negative on tour this summer. That should be good, although I would have preferred to go to the PL show next week, which isn't looking like happening now. I'm not a big fan of the latest Type O Negative album to be honest.

I've also nearly finished recording the track that I've been saying has been nearly finished for months now. No, really. Just a couple more bits of acoustic guitar and then it's just mixing left, which only takes a couple of hours. Then I can forget about it because it's a bit shit. Oh well.

I just realised that there's a circus in the field across the road from my house. That doesn't happen every day.

It's strange to think that I've lived in this city for longer than I've lived anywhere else. Yet still, when I pass the areas I used to live in when I first moved here to come to university, it doesn't seem like ten years has passed since I was there. Time moves so swiftly, and I have so little to show for it. I've lived with 21 different people, and I don't keep in regular contact with a single one of them. Such a strange existence.
