cameras and photography
May. 15th, 2008 10:51 amTwo questions, of quite different nature:
- What is a good Canon camera to get, that is both compact, costs between £100 and £200? There's a whole list of Powershots and Ixuses and so on, and some implication that they're the same thing with different names.
- Is there a good reference for how exposure time affects the non-linear luminance curve? I am presuming it's this curve that allows people to do the pseudo-HDR pictures with multiple exposures, since a linear increase proportional to exposure would defeat the object.
