A couple of questions have been asked about it, so I'll go back and edit that post to clarify a couple of bits of information.

In other other news, I have a new and complicated phone, so if you text me and get no response, it's probably because I pressed the wrong button and ordered an orbital strike on Moscow instead of sending an SMS. It also had the audacity to warn me that loud ringtones may damage my hearing. What? Standing in the front row at an Entombed gig, that may damage my hearing, Mr Phone.

Sony Ericsson K800i. With damaged battery cover because I had to prise the fucker open. In actual fact, it doesn't need prising, it just needs an incredibly subtle method of opening it, but there you go.

I got it because the camera on it is as high definition as my digital camera and about 1/4 of the size and weight. This still makes it quite bulky as far as modern phones go though, and I doubt you need another camera...

No, but I *do* need another phone (ok, *want* another phone). And that one's been getting some good reviews.

And you can never have too many cameras, especially when you're not taking the SLR everywhere.

This one seems fine to me, but I've not exactly put it through its paces. The software seems useful too, since you can mount it as a removable drive, which I find easier for transferring mp3s and pictures to and fro. Some reviews have mentioned that the battery life is quite short however. This might just be because they're using the camera a lot, because full-screen preview drains my real camera's batteries too.

They're also better than Entombed have been for years, so you should have.

Seen Entombed about 6 times between '96 and '01, and they went into a bad downhill slide. Though I haven't seen em since Slayer in City in '01, so they may have got back on track. Seen Mogwai 3 times, and they were stunning all 3 times, though a bit let down by City's sound levels.

Seen Entombed twice... can't say I particularly like them. And Mogwai is just not my thing at all really.

Perhaps they should have warned you that a loud ringtone may damage the hearing of others around you. Seeing as how they have a choice about Entombed, but not your phone (besides, it can be quite annoying to be around people that have poor hearing, so in the end you suffer either way).

That is true. I think they're referring to when they use it with headphones in this case, since it really isn't all that loud.

Also, you probably overestimate how often I get phone calls. (It's about monthly...)

I assume you know (you probably do) that even if your camera phone and digital camera have the same megapixels - your camera phone will still look a lot worse in quality as the lens will be inferior.

In theory, yeah. In practice, since my camera was cheap and also that I reduce the size of every picture I take, the difference isn't noticeable.
