Jun. 17th, 2003 09:47 amGetting to work every day is a bit of an art. I need to leave late enough that I get enough sleep, get there late enough that I'm not stood around waiting for my bus for ages, but early enough that I don't miss it (and like all buses, it arrives at a random time). Out of 50 days of work, I've misjudged it just twice, and one of those misjudgements was today. So I had to sit around in town for a short while waiting for the next one, which allowed me to watch all the other commuters scurrying around like ants.
Gonna be hot and rainy today. I hate that combination.
I need to start doing more programming. I'm feeling very uncreative when I'm not making anything except at work. At least I'm getting more reading done these days.
And in other news, this is pretty grim: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/dorset/2994176.stm
