Good gig. Consummate musicians. Great to spend some time with Yolanda, Jim, Mark (and his brother (Mike I think?)) too. Shame I don't get out more often.
I have a job interview next week. Wish me luck. It seems like correction fluid all over the application form didn't lose me marks after all. As always, an interview with more than 1 person. It's funny how the little classes at school and college always say "sometimes you get interviewed by more than 1 person". I've never been interviewed by only 1 person.

My housemate Chris works as a technician at a local school. They've let him start supervising classes now, which is a scary prospect. Mildly paraphrased transcript follows:

Chris, to boy: "Get in your seat."
Boy: "Uhhgggghgh" (it's an inner-city school, they don't speak much English)
Chris, pushing boy into seat: "Sit down!"
Boy: "Hey! You can't do that!"
Chris: "I just did."
Boy: "Teachers aren't allowed to touch us!"
Chris: "I'm not a teacher."
Boy: "...ugh."

Probably out at Spiders tonight, for my first Friday Spiders Expedition. It's odd to think that the place has been open ages and I've not been on a Friday at all. But then I was thinking the other day that I'd been on a Wednesday quite recently... and then realised that it can't possibly have been any more recent than mid-August. Where do the months go?

In other news I'm back to computer programming again (procedural textures in Python, should anyone be geeky enough to care), and got an interesting "work 3 hrs a week for computer parts and free web/game hosting" offer yesterday, which I will have to think about.
