May. 16th, 2006 12:07 pmIt's interesting how having some sort of minor temporary disability changes your life in small ways. This problem with my arm requires me to do several things differently, from how I open doors (I have to be closer to it if using my left hand) to how I put my shirt on (usually right arm first, but that doesn't work any more without pain), and more. Playing guitar is not hindered at all (except by my usual ineptitude), but picking up guitars - typically using my left hand - has to be done very carefully. (I almost regret owning such heavy guitars now, too. Almost.)
Apologies for the parenthetical proliferation. ;)
I think there's some improvement in my condition overall though - I can feel something in the areas that had no sensation last week, even if it is just tenderness. Mild pain is better than nothing at all.
