Dec. 13th, 2006 03:14 pmAs expected, computer fixing did not go according to plan. The main problem is that my case is just not compatible with my graphics card, and with this motherboard being more firmly attached to the case, there's no way I can get the card into the slot without sawing off part of the case or the card. Aaaargh. So today, I bought a new case, for £29, taking my computer fixing expenditure to £279. So much for getting a GT-8 or electro-acoustic guitar this year. What makes it worse is that I'm still not 100% sure why the old one didn't work.
I went out last night and although I managed to put up with it for longer than I expected, it was still boring. There's a lot of apathy in the scene at the moment, and it shows. Probably the most interesting bit was talking with
rabbleuk about how we're too old and how things change. I left at 12:30am for the tedious walk home, and am now probably staying in until Friday 22nd, unless I go to the Sabbat gig at the weekend.
