My "band" got a MySpace friend request from reasonably-well-known Canadian death metallers Kataklysm the other day. How rare. I wonder what sort of search term or listing we came up under. I've no idea how to find bands on MySpace. In fact it's a pretty crap tool for the job, especially compared to Last.fm etc. I always found it funny that MySpace's 'search' feature is crippled, and the 'browse' feature is effectively the search. And isn't it about time that they added proper presentation editing, so that they can remove the embedded HTML everybody uses and which leads to all these profiles getting hacked and everybody getting spammed about free iPods. How can one single site get it so amazingly wrong so comprehensively?

Google Maps has an interesting way to get from New York to Paris. Check step 23 in particular.

I just found out that a code change I made to one of my online games 9 months ago has a fatal bug in it that makes it much harder to play. No wonder new players don't stick around for long. :( Hopefully it will be fixed soon, once I work out where the latest copy of all my code is, and get it uploaded onto the server and compiled. It's easy to forget how to do all this stuff when you've barely touched it for years.

Since it's the in-thing to do at the moment, here's my Johari Window and Nohari Window for you all to have a crack at, should you choose. I've done the former before, but it'll be interesting to see if opinions have changed over time. As for the latter, it's a bit negative, but I'm in the mood for identifying and addressing my failings at the moment.
