Lucozade and Lemsip together can cure anything, including Weekend Man-Flu. It's odd that I only seem to get ill at the weekends, though. I don't think I've taken a day off work ill since I started at this job. I was rather hoping to be too ill to come in today, but despite barely being able to sleep, I was ok by morning. Apart from my cold making it hard to sleep, I found my dreams beset with logic problems - the difference between inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning, whether Or means Exclusive Or to logicians (sometimes it seems like they don't make a distinction), how to get the probability of A given B from the probability of B given A, and so on. I think reading logic books before bed is probably hazardous for your mental health.

The weekend was ok. I saw several people on Friday night, though I didn't actually talk to many. I have no idea what I did on Saturday, but I'm pretty sure it involved doing a little shopping and a lot of playing computer games. On Sunday I met up with Hannah in town and ended up eating salad. Whatever next?

That reminds me of something that came up in conversation - how many of you vegetarians would eat meat if it was grown in a vat or similar, and no animal was harmed or killed in the process?

Tonight is band practice, which should be productive. Shame the prospective singer who contacted us last month is steadfastly ignoring our attempts to hurry him along in getting a demo to us. Disappointing. Still, we press on.

It's Primordial on Saturday; does anybody know where one can store things temporarily while in central London? I'd like to do some cd shopping and the like while I'm down there, but don't really want to carry a load of stuff into a tightly-packed gig with me. Sadly I'm guessing that the modern climate of Islamic terrorism tends to make it harder to find places where you can simply deposit a bag in a locker and come back to collect it later. Certainly I couldn't find any such facilities at Euston Station when I looked into it last night.
